About the Royal Palace

The Royal Palace of Madrid is the accredited residence of the Spanish monarchy and one of the largest and most spectacular palaces in Europe. Built in the 18th century by order of Philip V on the former Alcazar of Madrid, the building stands out for its imposing baroque and neoclassical architecture . Although it is not currently the usual residence of the kings, it is still the scene of important state ceremonies and one of the most visited monuments in Spain.

  • Be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
  • The guide will give you the entrance tickets at the meeting point, just before the guided tour begins.
  • Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
  • For ease of access, we recommend that you bring only small bags. The museum lockers are not guaranteed.
  • Free radio guide is mandatory for groups of more than 6 people.
  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the start of the activity will be charged 20 € per person.
  • If you cancel with less time, arrive late or do not show up, you will not be entitled to a refund.
